Jüdische Perspektiven sichtbar machen und stärken

Radikal_jüdisch ist ein Bildungskollektiv, welches aus jüdischer Perspektive Begegnungsmöglichkeiten schafft und Bildung, Beratung und Selbstermächtigung ermöglicht. Das Kollektiv fokussiert sich auf die Arbeit mit sozialen Bewegungen und besteht momentan aus Riv Elinson und Nui Arendt, die seit mehreren Jahren in Bildungsarbeit involviert sind. Sie stellen die Arbeit des Kollektivs vor und sprechen zu Critical Gojness, strukturellem Antisemitismus und der Intersektion von Antisemitismus und Rassismus.

Stolpersteine commemorating Jewish families from Cologne

Over the past 25 years, the artist Gunter Demnig has installed almost 3000 »Stolpersteine« in Cologne to commemorate victims of the Nazi persecution in front of their last voluntarily chosen places of residence. Many of these small memorial plaques on the pavement were initiated by descendants of Jewish families from Cologne, who want their ancestors to be remembered at their former homes.
The panel discussion will bring together descendants who recently had stones installed for family members, sponsors of stones and those responsible for organising the installation to share the family’s history behind the stones and discuss their relevance for both relatives and public remembrance.
